As a church we have the opportunity to meet together on the second Saturday of every month in the prayer chapel from 8am – 9am. Everyone is welcome to join in as we pray for all kinds of different issues. As well as prayer meetings we also have prayer times in smaller groups via our housegroups.
At the heart of Perth Baptist Church are its housegroups. As a church we are not merely people who happen to worship in the same building each week but are also a people committed to each other’s well-being and the groups exist to facilitate this.
Being part of a group enables you to:
– Study the bible together to learn and understand more of God’s word;
– Pray for each other, our church and community and the wider world;
– Develop meaningful, open, sharing relationships with each other;
– Make time each week to join together to enjoy fellowship;
– Care and support each other.
Housegroup is a great place to get to know one another. The groups are open to all and we don’t insist that people go to the nearest group to them; but invite everyone to try the groups and settle where they feel comfortable. Each group has its own leaders, its own style and its own traditions, so every group feels slightly different. However, all the groups study the same Bible passages or themes at the same time.
Our housegroups are our commitment to one another in fellowship. We think that one of the most important things our fellowship can offer you is a welcome in one of our housegroups.
See the noticeboard in the Church Centre foyer for details of times, places and leaders or if you need any more information about any of the housegroups or have any questions then please call us on 01738 621213 or email church office.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
